Rigid Strapping Tape (RST)

Rigid Strapping Tape is a robust supportive tape that stabilises joints during vigorous physical activity in all conditions and is effective for both preventative and rehabilitation taping techniques. The primary objective of the tape is to restrict the movement of ligaments, tendons and joints to prevent injury or re-injury under high-stress conditions. Constructed with a strong rayon backing and rubber zinc oxide adhesive mass, a significant amount of support can be provided. The tape is flesh coloured with serrated edges, providing quicker application while simultaneously eliminating threading due to its hand tearable nature. Available in 2.5cm, 3.8cm and 5cm widths.

Elastic Adhesive Bandage (EAB)

Elastic Adhesive Bandage is ideal for providing additional support through overwrapping rigid strapping tape or dealing with soft tissue injuries through providing compression. Unlike the rigid tape, elastic adhesive bandages provide more stretch, allowing for greater movement and conformity to the body. These bandages are available in both hand tearable and non-hand tearable options as well as varying levels of support depending on what is required. Available in 2.5cm, 5cm and 7.5cm widths.

Kinesiology Tape (K Tape)

Kinesiology Tape is designed to provide comfort, increase stability and relieve pain in injured joints or muscles. Its elastic properties make it different from regular strapping tape, allowing full motion of body parts and providing dynamic support. Working like a second skin, kinesiology tape improves blood flow and speeds up recovery from minor injuries. Its porous, thin construction is suitable for those with sensitive skin types and the lined backing paper also allows for easy removal after application. The benefits of this kind of tape include swelling reduction, reduced muscle fatigue, pain relief, muscle support and reduced downtime from injury. Available in 5cm width.

Underwrap

Underwrap is used prior to taping an area with rigid strapping tape or elastic adhesive bandage and is ideal for individuals with sensitive skin that’s prone to reactions. Not only do underwraps prevent direct contact between the more adhesive tapes and the skin, they assist in reducing friction and allow tapes to stick better. The lightweight nature of these products allows to skin to breathe, reducing the likelihood of re-taping. Traditionally, adhesive cotton construct underwraps are utilised prior to treatment, however cohesive foam underwraps are also available. Available in 5cm and 10cm widths.

ADHESIVE Foam

Adhesive Foam is used to provide additional protection and support to high impact areas that are constantly put under stress. The thicker foam tapes can be used to wrap around feet, ribs and shoulder to prevent bruising and minimise impact. These products can be used in conjunction with taping techniques or separately. Microfoam products are also available to reduce friction related injuries that commonly occur such as blisters and taping cuts.
