Thigh Injury
Thigh muscle strains (quads/hamstrings)
Can be caused by direct blows, over stretching or over loading the muscles.
Treatment:
- Rest your leg and try to move it as little as possible
- Apply an ice pack at regular intervals
- Elevate and support the leg, this will help to reduce swelling
- Ask advice from your GP or a qualified physio if symptoms don’t subside after 48 hours
